Mikel L. Mays, North Central College Class of 2022 --"As a North Central College alum, Class of '22, balancing the demands of being Student Body President, participating in extracurricular activities, attending classes, and working, I often found myself wishing for more convenient solutions to everyday challenges. One such challenge was hauling trash to the dumpster—a time-consuming and often inconvenient task. Reflecting on those busy days, I would have gladly paid additional money for a valet trash service to save time and reduce stress. Today, I appreciate how condos and apartments are offering these services to cater to the needs of busy young professionals, providing them with the convenience I once longed for during my college years."

"During my college years, a service like BZE would have been extremely helpful. The standard-issue small tin trash cans in dorms are hardly sufficient for most needs, especially for a young woman. As a full-time student juggling a heavy course load and multiple jobs, having one less task to manage would have been a significant relief. Spending $10 weekly for trash collection seems entirely reasonable, especially given my dislike for household chores, particularly dealing with garbage. Moreover, after hosting friends for a movie night in my dorm room, such a service would have drastically minimized the cleanup process.”

"Having trash valet services is a luxury perk that allows me to manage my apartment trash in a more efficient manner. Knowing someone will come by a few nights out of the week to collect my trash allows me to release the burden of having to walk across my apartment complex, especially when it's cold."
"As a University of Alabama at Birmingham alum, Class of ’08, balancing the demands of being a student leader, working full time, managing a full course load, and volunteering, my schedule was incredibly packed. It’s often the little things—those seemingly simple tasks—that can trip you up when your plate is already overflowing. A valet trash service would have been a tremendous help during those hectic days. It also would have been a game-changer for my roommate, an equally busy pre-med student who spent countless hours in the library. Services like this cater to the unique needs of busy college students, offering convenience and time savings that are invaluable during such a demanding season of life." —University of Alabama at Birmingham Alum '08
